Designing Rural Systems

Project : Village focuses on creating vibrant livelihoods for all rural residents through a powerful renaissance of coastal rural roots.

The Project Village team, in collaboration with community partners, residents, and stakeholders, tackle some of our region’s most significant challenges: population decline, an aging workforce, food insecurity, and issues related to accessibility.

We have identified four work areas in our first year that share the common thread of attracting investment to the region, growing the population, fostering an entrepreneurial culture, and keeping the local community at the heart of our work: Aquaculture, Shelter, Food, and Transportation.
